《鱼缸》这部作品采用多重叙事结构,用无叙事和意识性图像组合。影片中类似 于虚构化、碎片化图像和片段,实质上用多个意识形态和故事之间以及片段之间 组合和串联,有了类似呼吸作用。用生活常见物像和意识图形变化,表现人与物 束缚,群体无意识化,人如鱼缸中鱼被束缚在空间中,和人对鱼缸中多维度空间 时间理解。如同时间和空间,每个人都要从开始到结束如莫比乌斯环一样循环回 来。 
The work Fish Tank has adopted a structure of multiple narratives, combining non- narrative and conscious images. The ctional, fragmental images and video clips have in fact been assembled and linked up with various ideologies and stories, with the effect of “breathing”. With daily objects and shifts in graphic consciousness, this work displays various themes: the constraint of people and objects; the mass unconscious; people getting constrained in space like sh in sh tanks; and people’s understanding of the multi-dimensional space and time in a sh tank. Like time and space, everyone has to circle back from beginning to the end—just like a Mobius strip.

刘豪格的动画作品在遵循最原始的动画生产方式的同时,手绘图像、多层级场景 绘画、图像和场景的拼贴叙事、电脑后期技术的运用,再结合自然滲透中的当前 媒体技术以及全球性流行文化对于视觉图像的风格影响,让其作品在保持上世纪 60-70 年代的实验性手绘动画的视觉质感的同时,也呈现出当前的青年群体关于自 身境遇的年轻化表达-比如讨论主题的年轻化,视觉风格的时尚化。“鱼缸”就是 关于“困顿”和“过程”的表达,一个很年轻的主题:不断行进中的行走状态,鱼缸 的困境意向。 非线性叙事,时空里的莫比乌斯环,人与物的束缚,群体的无意识状。风格性的 作品对于实验动画的创作有着极为重要的价值和意义,图像和叙事的个体表达, 是推动此类型创作的基石和基础。

Liu Haoge’s animation follows the most primitive way of making animation. At the same time, the application of hand-drawn images, multi-level scene paintings, collage narrative of images and scenes, the use of digital postproduction, combined with the natural intermingling of current media technology and stylistic in uences in the visual images of a global pop culture allow his work to maintain that visual quality of experimental hand-painted animations in the 1960s-70s. This also presents a fresh expression of what youth groups face—with, for instance, fresher discussions of issues and more fashionable visual styles. Fish Tank is about the expression of “hardship” and “process” —a youthful theme—the state of constantly walking and the image of plight in the sh tank. A non-linear narrative, the temporal-spatial Mobius ring, the constraints of people and objects, the mass unconscious. Stylistic works have great value and signi cance for experimental animation. The personal expression of images and narratives are the cornerstone and foundation from which to promote this type of creation.
